Business Week columnist Steve Wildstrom was among the people that met with HD Connect last week and wrote a column about it.
As evidenced by the tag line of his blog, “Skeptical musings on the world of personal technology,” Windstrom is, while liking the concept of improving voice quality, skeptical that the wireless world will dump its existing methods of doing business to move to higher quality and predicts that HD will first catch on in speaker phones and conferencing systems…
*sigh* I guess he missed the data point about France Telecom having over 500,000 broadband users, but he’s right about the uphill battle to move wireless carriers (faster) to better sound.
