Among the Moderators for HD Voice Summit at 2010 CES

Among the moderators at the HD Voice Summit at 2010 CES are–

Rob Pegoraro, Technology Columnist, Washington Post

Erik Linask, Group Editorial Director, TMC

Richard Romagnino, Vice President Business Development, VoiceAge Corporation

Dan Shey, Practice Director – Mobile Services, ABI Research

Andy Abramson, CEO, Comunicano, Inc./”VoIP Watch”

Rob Pegoraro has been writing about consumer tech for the Post since I was with that little startup company in old Greenbelt (1993 or so), so he’s seen a lot of the latest gee-whiz come and go over the years.

Over at TMC, Erik Linask manages the day-to-day operation of TMCnet (3 million unique monthly visitors) and oversees TMC’s four print publications. He covers “a wide range” of topics in the IP Communications and Information Technology arenas and got an earful of HD voice at AstriCon 2009.

As vice president of business development for Voice Age, Richard Romagnino is responsible for business development in licensing and codec solutions and for developing new markets for VoiceAge solutions. He’s clocked more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry.

Dan Shey leads coverage of business mobility markets for ABI Research, focusing on the opportunities and challenges for the wireless industry.

Last — but definitely not least– Andy Abramson’s “VoIP Watch” is among the top reads for anyone tracking the IP communications space.  Andy predicted/suggested the Google/Gizmo5 merger and others are looking to see what his next columns will bring.
