After testing the waters at the HD Voice Summit at CES earlier this month, XConnect has formally announced its free trial for its HD voice peering federation. The trial, open to “qualified operators,” waives sign-up and monthly fees during a run from April to June.
Under the trial, multiple providers will be able to test interoperability, scalable interconnection, reliability, and support of G.722 through XConnect’s federation services. Trial participants will form a private peering community under XConnect’s Private Alliance service.
Providers seeking more details need to sign up at www.xconnect.net/hd-trial and asked to provide full contact information, including a postal address and phone number.
HD Voice News hopes to obtain more information later today.
