On the rollup to Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week in Barcelona, Global IP Solutions (www.gipscorp.com) has announced a video chat/HD voice package for Apple iPhone mobile developers.
Coders can use GIPS VideoEngine Mobile to rapidly integrate real-time video chat or multi-point video conferencing into iPhone applications, resolving IP network issues such as delay, jitter and echo. VideoEngine Mobile also features HD voice with the video “regardless of network conditions.”
Needless to say, if you can support real-time video chat, you can support HD voice, so putting the two together to enable two-way video chat will enable mobile carriers and solution providers to provide videoconferencing to an even larger audience.
GIPS is going to demo the solution at MWC next week at Booth # 2A14, Hall 2, or in the MWC media center.
