snom adds gigabit to its phone line

Snom technologies AG (www.snom.com) has launched the snom 821, a new IP phone that incorporates a gigabit Ethernet switch.

The snom 821 is expected to be fully available in the U.S. by the end of the second quarter – which would mean by the end of June.  Like the snom 870 line, the 821 is available in both light (Apple white) and dark (corporate bland) colors and includes a large TFT color display, an integrated XML browser, and support for HD voice/wideband voice.  It also supports all the “leading” SIP-based IP PBX and UC communications environments, including Microsoft OCS 2007 R2.
