Unicoi releases HD voice engine for multiple platforms

Unicoi (www.unicoi.com) has announced the release of its Fusion HD Voice Engine for multiple platforms.

Fusion HD Voice Engine was created for IP phones, radios, terminal adapters, and gateways, and includes a fully integrated suite of codecs, algorithms, and critical voice services and features for a variety of hardware and software configurations.   Features include Unicoi’s family of wideband and narrowband voice codecs, acoustic and line echo cancellation software, a dynamic jitter buffer, and a packet loss compensation module.

Analog Device’s Blackfin Processor is the only processor cited on the company’s website;  HD Voice News is waiting to get a full list of platforms and silicon supported.

Codes supported include “729AB, DVI4,” G.722, G.722, and G.726.
