Grandstream goes under $100 for HD voice handset

Grandstream Networks (www.grandstream.com) has announced a $95 list price HD voice phone, the GXP285.

Targeted at the small business, the single-line GXP285 includes dual 10/100M Ethernet ports and integrated PoE (Power over Ethernet), a 128×32 LCD, full-duplex speakerphone with acoustic echo cancellation, up to 2 line appearances allowing 2 simultaneous calls, 3 XML programmable soft keys, and a headset jack.

The phone supports G.722, along with XML customization of the LCD screen, click-to-dial, downloadable ringtones, server redundancy, as well as SRTP and AES encryption of configuration file.

Commercial availability for the phone will be in July 2010.
