Earlier this month, France Telecom (www.ft-orange.com) added two Nokia phones to its France lineup which will support HD voice, with a Sony phone arriving in early July. More importantly, the release-in-translation said that its France network would support HD “by the end of July.”
Introduced on June 10, 2010 and currently available at Orange shops, the Nokia E72 and Nokia 5230 are both listed as being capable to “make and receive” mobile calls with HD voice quality.
A HD voice compatible Sony Ericsson Quiksilver is expected to be available in early July.
The June 3 release in French (http://www.orange.com/fr_FR/presse/communiques/cp100603fr.jsp) also says that its country’s network would support HD voice by the end of July.
