TIA 2011 featuring HD voice session

Editor-in-Chief Doug Mohney will be one of the presenters at TIA 2011 in mid-May. The event is being held at the Gaylord Texas in Dallas, TX.

“HD Voice: Implementing the Advantages” takes place on Wednesday, May 18 from 8:30 am – 9:15 am. From the TIA 2011 website description.

HD voice — also known as wideband voice – is rolling out across the globe in places as varied as India’s 3G cellular network to SMBs in North America. This session will present the basics of HD voice – including its advantages over traditional POTS/PSTN narrowband service – how it is being implemented in wireless and wireline networks, and which service providers around the world are turning it up today across Europe, Asia, and North America.

The other speaker for the session is Kjell Johanssen, Director, Technical Solutions Management, Ericsson.
