France Telecom continues to roll out HD voice service in its subsidiaries around the globe. The latest countries include Mauritius and Reunion, but the company isn’t hyping the additions.
Mauritius appears in a Orange Switzerland press release promoting a HD voice demonstration at the 37th Asut seminar in Bern on June 9. The country is cited as one of the HD voice markets France Telecom-Orange Group has added outside of Europe.
A visit to “HD Voice country availability” (http://event.orange.com/default/EN/all/hd_voice_en/hd_voice_country_availibili__1.htm)
lists Mauritius and Reunion among the 11 countries turned up, with the Dominican Republic and Switzerland listed under “planned launch.”
Orange Switzerland will get HD voice service this fall, according to the Aust seminar release, with service turned up region by region.
