Telstra has added two new mobile phones, one exclusive (whatever that means these days), to its HD voice lineup – the HTC Sensation and Sony Ericsson Xperia neo.
HTC’s Sensation is an Android phone with a 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen with a resolution of 540×960 pixels, 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8 MP back-facing camera, Android, 2.3, 1 GB internal storage, 1080p video recording, and support for AMR-WB. HTC has also added a customized user interface.
Exclusive to Telstra, the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo will show up Down Under on July 26. It too will run Android 2.3, also features an 8 MP camera with Exmor R for taking pictures and video in poor light conditions, , a 3.7 inch touchscreen at 854×480 pixels,1 GB of storage, and an HDMI connector.
Interestingly, Sony Ericsson’s web site doesn’t list AMR-WB as a feature of the Xperia neo, but both Telstra and Sony Ericsson execs say the phone will support HD voice.
