T-Mobile launches HD voice in the Czech Republic

T-Mobile Czech Republic has launched HD voice, reports TelecomPaper.  This would be the third official turn-up for T-Mobile this year.

According to the report, T-Mobile is the first mobile operator in the country to turn up HD voice.  Service will be available on the 3G network, which currently covers about 65 percent of the population.

There are a lot of handsets listed in the initial report. Currently supporting HD voice are the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Xperia Arc, Xperia Ray and Xperia Mini Pro. In November, Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, Xperia Arc S and Nokia 500 will be added.  By the end of the year, assuming testing goes well, the Nokia N8, E6, E7 and 700 will be added.

In August, T-Mobile launched HD voice service in Austria and in Poland.  There is also undocumented, unadvertised HD voice support on parts of T-Mobile‚Äôs network in the Netherlands.
