The Cable Show 2012: Snom arrives

Seeking to make friends among the MSOs, snom (www.snom.com) is showing off its business phones for IP voice and Lync hosted solutions.

Making its first appearance here, the company is featuring (at booth 1321) its snom UC edition “qualified for Microsoft Lync” phones, including the 300 UC, 370 UC, 821 UC and Lync “optimized” UC 600.  IP handsets the company has brought along include the snom 720 and 760 business phones.

All snom phones support G.722 and have since almost forever.

Snom’s arrival at The Cable Show comes at a time when cable companies continue to roll out business hosted VoIP/UC solutions, going “where the money is” in terms of per-customer revenue.  Cox Business aloe pulls in over a billion dollars of revenue and continues to grow, devouring customers once served by incumbent phone companies and CLECs.
