RIM, Blackberry 10 and HD voice–more comment

Michael Graves (www.mgraves.org) points out RIM staff were on a May 25, 2012 VoIP users’s call (www.voipusersconference.org) along with staff from Truephone to promote efforts to deliver superior audio “including full bandwidth and stereo capability in the BB10 platform.”

Truphone was leveraging the new capability to deliver a Blackberry specific version of its over-the-top (OTT) VoIP application.

HD Voice News remains skeptical of RIM’s viability to deliver this capability, given the company’s ongoing problems.
