Jordan has joined the HD voice community, reports AMEinfo.com.  It becomes the third Middle Eastern carrier to support wideband.

Now available to all Orange Jordan 3G+ subscribers,  few details are available due to translation issues. HD Voice News assumes the standard terms of service apply (No extra charge for HD voice calls, support on a number of handsets, HD voice calls only supported in-network at this time).

Through its Egyptian subsidiary Mobinil, Orange turned up HD voice service in September 2010.  Etihad Atheeb Telecom introduced service in January 2011 using WiMAX and a soft client.
