Bharti Airtel launches second HD voice territory in Nigeria

Before the end of 2012, Bharti Airtel launched HD voice service in Africa.  Airtel Nigeria is the second subsidiary in the group to deliver HD voice.

In February 2011, Bharti Airtel launched service in its home territory of India. The company had over 246 million customers across its operations in 20 countries in Asia and Africa and has a “One Network” roaming service across providers – expect to see more subsidiaries turn up HD voice in the future.

HD voice continues to expand across Africa.  Orange has launched service in Kenya, Mauritius, Reunion, and Uganda, with more territories expected to be added in 2013.
