Inteliquent (www.inteliquent.com), the company formerly known as Neutral Tandem, announced Broadvox (www.broadvox.com) as an HD voice interconnection customer. Broadvox joins 8×8 and at least 8 other service providers exchanging HD voice traffic through Inteliquent. Seamless interconnection is the final hurdle for ubiquity in making HD voice calls. The audio conferencing service supports G.722 and boasts a patent-pending “TurboSound Enhancement Technology” to adjust and balance sound.
