Grandstream Networks (www.grandstream.com) has announced an enterprise SIP phone with HD audio for a list price under $100.
The two line GXP1440 is described as an “entry-level” enterprise desktop SIP phone for $99. It includes HD voice (G.722) audio, plus LCD XML customization, automated provisioning, integrated “personal Web productivity applications,” and advanced security protection.

8×8 (www.8×8.com) has officially embraced Polycom (www.polycom.com) phones.
Initially, 8×8 will be offering the Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 desk phone, an entry-level SIP phone, but 8×8 plans to add additional SoundPoint IP desktop phone, SoundStation IP conference phones – the biggie for many enterprise customers – and Polycom KIRK wireless phones and accessories in the future.

At VoiceCon, Polycom announced that it now has a full portfolio of HD voice phones, adding on two under $200 phones, one specifically optimized for Microsoft Office Communicator. The announcement fulfills the company’s pronouncement in the spring that all of Polycom’s products would support HD Voice by the end of the year.
