HD voice rolls out to two more carriers in Canada: Bell and Virgin Mobile

Telstra launches HTC LTE HD voice capable smartphone

Verizon Wireless is pushing back its VoLTE rollout to early 2013, Light Reading says.  This would be a pushback from the company’s previous declaration it would start rolling out Voice over LTE for customers in 2012.

FYI–“Cheap” Nokia phone HD voice support

This might be “old news” to some, but a number of low-cost Nokia SIP-capable phones support HD voice over VoIP using AMR-WB as the speech codec.  The S40 models, including Asha 303, C3-01 Gold, C3-01 T&T, X3-02 T&T all support AMR-WB via SIP.
