In a two way deal, France Telecom-Orange (FTO) is buying 100 percent of Congo Chine Telecom (CCT), a mobile operator in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It’s been more than a year since Orange announced HD voice trials in Switzerland, but the company has officially launched service in the western part of the country, according to a report by TelecomPaper. Service to the rest of the country’s 3G network is expected by the end of October.

According to multiple reports, Orange Romania has flipped the switch on HD voice in the country. At this rate, mobile HD voice service will be available throughout most of Europe by the end of the year.
