D2 Technologies is announcing (yet another) partnership with a 4G chip manufacturer.  Sequans Communication is offering the SQN3110 baseband chip pared with D2’s mCUE 4G mobile communications client for VoLTE and RCS video calling apps.

D2 partners up with LTE silicon makers

Last week, D2 Technologies (www.d2tech.com) announced partnerships with Altair Semiconductor and Sequans Communications in the LTE world.

D2 supports VoIP for Sequans WiMAX silicon

Over in Taiwan for COMPUTEX, D2 Technologies (www.d2tech.com) has announced its vPort Gateway embedded VoIP software now supports the Sequans Communications WiMAX chipset.

Sequans is the world’s leading WiMAX chipmaker, says the press release. The D2/Sequans combo is running on a CPE reference design based on the Ralink RT3052 SoC.
